چکیده
The worldwide consumption of fossil hydrocarbons in the road transport sector 2020 corresponded to roughly half overall consumption. However, biofuels have been discreetly contributing mitigate gaseous emissions and participating sustainable development, thus leading extending commercial utilization internal combustion engines. In this scenario, present work aims at exploring effects alternative fuels containing a blend 15% ethanol 35% biodiesel with 50% diesel (E15D50B35) or Fischer–Tropsch (F-T) (E15FTD50B35) on engine combustion, exhaust (CO, HC, NOx), particulate characteristics as well performance an aftertreatment system common rail engine. It was found that one blends showed more than 30% reduction PM concentration number, 25% mean particle size, 85% total mass respect conventional fuel. Additionally, it E15FTD50B35 reduces (THC) by NO 3.8%. oxidation catalyst effective carbonaceous reduction, despite light-off being slightly delayed comparison fuel blends.

Combustion Improvement for Reducing Exhaust Emissions in DI Diesel Engine
Multidimensional modelling of open-cycle process of OM355 engine was developed. Calculations for computational mesh were carried out. The results of the model were validated by experimentally measured in-cylinder pressure and the good agreement between calculations and measurements approved the trustworthy of numerical code. Results included pressure, temperature, emission and Rate of heat rel...

Performance and Emissions of a Tractor engine operating on biodiesel-diesel blends with EGR
The influences of different diesel/biodiesel blends and EGR rate on brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC), exhaust gas temperature, NO, HC, CO emissions, are studied and demonstrated. In this paper a four stroke direct injection, water cooled, diesel engine was used. Biodiesel either in neat form or as a blend with diesel fuel is extensively investigated to solve the twin problem of reduction ...
